Meccha Chameleon

Mecha Chameleon is a 3D game of hide and seek where you are a chameleon that can change colour to blend in with its environment. Your goal is to hide cleverly enough that the hunter won't find you before time runs out. The game is playable straight in your browser, needs no installation and supports both computers and mobile devices.

How to Play Mecha Chameleon

Mecha Chameleon splits players into two teams, Hider and Hunter, per match. As a Hider, you need to choose a good place to hide, paint your body to match the background, and stay perfectly still to camouflage yourself. If you are a Hunter, your job is to watch closely, locate any abnormalities and catch all the players hiding before time runs out.

Every map contains many items, concealed corners and surfaces of varied colours; thus, there are countless possibilities to hide. In order to win you need quick reflexes but you also need to know how to use the landscape and fool your opponents with your camouflage talents.

• W,A,S,D: Movement.
• E: Interacting
• F: Camouflage paint.
• Mouse: Change camera view.
• Esc: Pause game

Tips and Tricks to win Mecha Chameleon

• Choose a detailed area to make the camouflage look more realistic.
• Avoid glaring spots of colour, paint colours that closely resemble the surrounding environment.
• Once you find a hiding location, don't move, since the Hunter will easily spot you.
• If you are the Hunter, look for secret corners and things of strange colours and shapes.
• Change your hiding position between games so your opponent can’t pick up on your patterns.
• Use the ground and light to help you blend in with what is around you.
