Vortex Ball is a 3D infinite runner. You control a ball, moving through a spiral tube that continually changes. There are several hurdles along the route, from barricades to changing shapes. Your aim is to dodge them and move as far as possible.
There is no finish to the Vortex Ball tunnel. The deeper you go the faster and more intricate the obstacles grow and the harder it is to control. The colours of the surroundings also continually change, creating a constant sensation of motion throughout the game.
Apart from surviving, you can also collect jewels that appear along the way. These diamonds are used to unlock different ball patterns in the shop. You start out with only a few basic options but there are a total of 27 balls to unlock in the game.
Ball possession
Click or use the arrow keys to move the ball. You can also move sideways by swiping on the touchscreen.
Avoiding obstacles
Obstacles are rotating items or moving structures, a constant reminder of obstacles. Don’t wait until you are right next to an impediment to alter direction, this can cause slow reflexes.
Gems Collection
Gems sprinkled along the road unlock additional ball patterns. But don't try to grab a gem if it's going to make you crash right into an obstruction.
Instead, focus on the path ahead of you, not just the ball.
Only move when you need to, and don’t change direction too much.
Try to survive before you try to collect all the diamonds.
The faster you go the quicker you will react to obstacles.

Vortex Ball is easy to get a handle on, but the further you go the faster your reflexes have to be. Each turn is a chance to beat the previous record and see how far you can throw the ball.
